Has anyone else noted that the EPG data is screwed up.

None of my BBC1 or 3 series are set for recording and channels are all out
by one from CBBC onwards. DVB-T fed from Rowridge - IOW but others seem to be
reporting similar disruption across the south east.

Yep, same here on the the Hannington transmitter, although for me it only
appears to be the radio stations, which I use a lot.

It appears that the BBC radio stations are shunted one.

BBC Radio 3 is Radio 4
BBC Radio 7 is BBC Asian Network

none of my recent recordings of BBC Radio have worked.

BUT, who do we call to get it fixed?

I am replying to my own subission:

I finally got someone in Microsoft Support UK to appear to take the problem
seriously.
They said (if you can believe them) that they have passed on our complaints
about EPG to those that maintain it in the UK. If this is so then great. If
not then we have the same-o-same-o BS you get from most Support Web Sites.

I hope they are genuine this time.

The problem seems to be for any channel from just below the BBC NEWS, up
through all Radio channels. They have the program schedule one off, so the
only fix for now, is to Con the Media Center to think it has a different
channel, via the Guide and Add Channels option. It is tedious but it should
work, until it is really fixed.

There's a thread about this on The Green Button -
http://thegreenbutton.com/forums/1/338852/ShowThread.aspx.

An MS person on the team is investigating.

It's pretty appalling really. They want to claim this is a consumer ready
product, but with these type of issues and the lack of DVB support in the
UK, you can tell they really don't care that much about MCE in Europe.

Yep same here on the Crystal Palace transmitter. I thought it was just mine
as every so often MCE 2005 totally corrupts its EPG. I am 'sort of' glad to
hear it is not just me.

Not only are CBBC onwards one channel out of alignment, but a couple of
channels seem to be completely missing, e.g. Radio 1 and Absolute Radio.

I first noticed this when I scheduled a recording of Click on BBC News and
ended up with a program from BBC Parliament!

As a temporary workaround I have added the 'wrong' channel EPG so BBC News
is now called BBC Parliament but at least shows the right programmes and
channel number (same for Sky News, CNN, CBBC, etc.

My temporary workaround was to re-setup the guide listings using the unmapped
digital terrestrial 'channel' rather than the one specific to my local
transmitter. I had to manually link a few channels, but at least all the
channels were available and in the right order.
