Can't Update Media Center

I have the same problem except for missing files (although not yet looked!) I
have uninstalled previous MCE2005 updates and cannot now re-install them.
Which specific updates do I need, and do they have to be in order for them to
work or is there another problem?

I lost access to my PC via the XBOX 360 ,so disconnected the PC from the
360, (Upon opening MC&MP on the PC I find ALL my music files are missing!!)
Tried to reconnect using Xboxpcsetup ,recieved a message to unistall the
updates for MC ,Now I can't reinstall MC Roillup2 or any other MC updates any
Ideas why ?......Jim
